Terms & Disclaimer

By using emergencyelectriciantucson.com you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
About this site
emergencyelectriciantucson.com is the website of Firefly Electric, a service-area business providing emergency electrical service in Tucson and Pima County, Arizona. We come to you; we do not operate a walk-in location.
Licensing
Contracting work in Arizona is regulated by the Arizona Registrar of Contractors. Our licence reference is shown throughout this site as AZ ROC #ROC-PENDING. You can and should verify the current status of any Arizona contractor licence yourself at roc.az.gov before work begins.
Information on this site is general
The descriptions of symptoms, causes and repairs on this site are general information about how residential electrical systems behave. They are not a diagnosis of your system. Every house, installation and fault is different, and only an on-site inspection with proper test equipment can determine what is actually wrong with yours.
Switching a breaker off is the one exception
We do tell you to switch off a circuit, or the main breaker, when something is overheating, sparking or smells like it is burning. Cutting power is safe for a homeowner to do and it is the right first move. Beyond that, nothing on this site is an instruction to open a panel, remove a device, or work on your own wiring. Household wiring carries voltages that kill, a panel remains live at the service lugs even with the main off, and electrical work in Arizona is regulated. If you act on general information from this site, you do so at your own risk.
Pricing and estimates
No price, range, or cost indication on this site is a quotation. Repair pricing depends on the fault, the parts required, access to the wiring, permit requirements and the age and condition of your system. Any binding price will be given to you directly, for your specific job, before work begins.
Availability
Emergency dispatch availability depends on demand, crew availability and conditions on the day. We will always tell you honestly what we can do and when, at the time you call.
Limitation of liability
This site is provided on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by Arizona law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance upon, the information on this site. This does not affect any rights or obligations arising from a service agreement you enter into with us.
